HELP FOR HEROES (UK)

OMG it happened!!!! The Official Villamartin Plaza and Charity 2017 hosted the Help for Heroes Official day Sunday and WOW WOW WOW, the plaza was busting at the seams, people came by coach’s (where from??)? Never in the history has it been this full! The pictures say it all. Most important we raised 5085 euros for the Heroes almost double last year. Thank You Thank You one and all!!!

My thanks you to all as without these folks the day would not have happened. First a man I call a friend who is special to me, Stevie Spit my co Charity coordinator and compere, Snoopy for the awesome sound. The entertainers who gave their time free for the cause, The Broadway Babies, Abba Elite, Angie Mckay, Jay Markwick, Al Joel, Jim McMail, Wendy(Dee), Edward Blundell-Williams, David John Williams, Nigel Burchill Eta, Just Ollie, Lucinda O’Connell, Richie Alexander, Totally Dance Studios, All of the helpers collecting the pennies, Evie for heading up the Heroes campaign and of course Sandie Hancock a hero who joined us, Richie Sparks and Lee Howard with BIG FM, I even got to do a live interview all over the Costa Blanca on the day! The day was simply amazing and I am still in the clouds over it!!!! Our sponsors for kick starting the day with 750 euros. Roy Morgan for the big donation and John S Khan for the extra Heather Small Concert tickets!!! Ray 27 for all the wind ups and buying Sheila‘s painting. I am sure I missed someone so sorry and a big thank you to all.

As well we streamed the show on Facebook and over 20,000 people viewed and it reached 150,000 people!!! unbelievable. People donated via Facebook even!!!!!

Remember Charity 2017 continues on May 20th helping the Little Pod Association and the Elche Home. Let’s do this even better.
